Syberia - The World Before - Frau Higel's Shop in the Old Roze's House

Here we are on the ground floor of the Roze's house in 2005, then occupied by the store of Mrs Higel. The place has been restored but the idea was to highlight the fact that even if the art nouveau is still there, the soul of 1937 is only a distant echo.

I wish the game had offered the Bridge of Mist neighborhood more extensively in 1937. It's a beautiful place and one of the first environments we worked on.
This is also Benoit's very first sketch for Syberia TWB; a view of the bridge's facades, on the river side, where you can see the paddlewheels stirring up the river water.
